Job Description

 

Our client a major Inspection/Integrity Management Contractor in the North Sea and internationally, dedicated to improving Asset Reliability, they are recruiting for Senior Inspection Engineers based in the North West of England.

The successful candidates will be motivated and have a keen interest in oil field / petrochemicals inspection engineering with a proven track record and experience relevant for the post applied for.

 

Candidates should possess the following qualifications/experience:


• Implementation and execution of all technical inspection monitoring work-scopes with regard to topsides process facilities, risers, pipelines and structures.
• Act as primary day to day focal point for the delivery of the inspection programme.
• Provide technical support where required to the Engineers, Operations and Maintenance teams and Technical Assistants.
• Review work-scopes, mobilisation plans, inspection reports and anomalies.
• Identify innovative support with regards to new technologies, repair and system developments which contribute to ongoing project improvements and increased efficiencies.
• Ability and willingness to work offshore.


Job Requirements

 

• Degree qualified in an engineering related discipline or, HNC/HND     qualified with formal plant inspection training/qualification preferred.
• UKAS Accreditation, RG2 Category 3, minimum.
• Significant relevant industry and offshore experience
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of relevant onshore/offshore legislation, codes and standards associated with the in-service inspection of pressure systems, plant and equipment.
• Working knowledge and experience of NDT and Specialist Inspection techniques
