The key responsibility of this position is to manage the overall operational performance of the Projects Group to ensure project delivery meets the Woodside Production Groups needs and expectations. Projects are managed through all phases from initial concept selection through to commissioning and handover. Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, the key responsibilities of the Lead Project Engineer include:
- Provide leadership and direction that empowers people to make decisions within well defined accountabilities and responsibilities.
- Lead, develop and motivate the team to achieve project outcomes and objectives.
- Establish the operational objectives and direction for the Production Projects Group in line with the goals and strategies of Transfield Worley and the Woodside Production Group.
- Provide consistent, sustainable and effective management direction for all projects within the Production Projects Group so as to ensure successful project delivery, continuing improvement in capability and leadership direction.
- Integrate functional reporting and operational reporting throughout the Production Projects Group to facilitate the strengthening of the project delivery mechanism.
- Manage the PPG delivery against the PPG and Contract Scorecards to deliver optimal performance to Transfield Worley and Woodside
- Monitor the teams performance on budgets, timelines, quality and safety objectives.
- Provide continual performance feedback to employees in line with Transfield Worleys Performance Review Process Guidelines.
