Job Description

Urgent requirement for PCN/ CSWIP Level 2 PAUT/ ToFD Inspector. Based in Melbourne Australia. 1 Position left

Based on 10hr day 6 days per week, anything over 10hrs to be paid at a pro rata rate. Accommodation is a self-contained 2 bedroom apartment with AU$75 per diem, paid in cash.

This is nominally a 6 day working week and as such Is not scheduled for ‘shift rotation’ but we would be willing to entertain a 6 on 2 off arrangement if needed (2 off unpaid)

The job is a 300mm pipeline with approx. 18 welds per day being scanned (using a ToFD / PA combination) Omniscan MX2 – 7mm & 13mm wall thickness, assessed, and reported. The only difficulty is that we are approaching a section where there may be 2 different thicknesses so set ups may need to be changed once or twice a day depending on tie-in sequencing.

Programmed completion of this line is April 2012, but the client is already talking about their next line so an ongoing opportunity could present itself.
