Job Description

  •  Assist in the management the IS and EBS product ranges across the open cut, underground, quarry and construction market sectors to deliver significant competitive advantage and optimum profitability within the Asian market.
  • Accountabilities Performance Measures Operating Environment Skills
  • Meet the expectations of the SH&E charter
  • Ensure conformance to Company Product Stewardship Standards by supporting country managers in delivering their product stewardship goals for IS and EBS.
  • Personal compliance with the Safety Charter Product Stewardship Self Assessment scores & annual improvement in line with targets.



Product Strategy

  • Develop regional plans to implement Global product strategies
  • Actively work with Country sales teams to ensure regional plans implemented
  • Track and monitor implementation
  • Collect market intelligence (competitor products, product comparisons, pricing comparisons, market share etc) for input into Regional and Global product strategies Penetration rates for new products Implementation of Global initiatives Quality of market knowledge


Pricing

  • Drive development and implementation of regional pricing policies
  • Develop systems for pricing implementation and management
  • Management and auditing of regional pricing policies
  • Regional profitability auditing and reporting


Product Quality Management

  • Monitoring quality issues
  • Root cause analysis and improvement initiatives on product inefficiencies
  • (skus, SLOBS, supply chain issues etc)
  • Customer Complaint Levels % of time allocated to “noise”
  • Project management (may include):
  • Product management aspects of product trials
  • Technology transfer between sites
  • Product improvement Project milestones
  • Global explosive market & customers

Product Support

  • Manage development & maintenance of selling tools and technical information, online and physical
  • Develop sales training materials to support product sales
  • Assist in training sales people TDS and selling tools for all commercialised products loaded onto the Intranet and Extranet Sales penetration.
